Information about the coronavirus This page contains the latest information about the impact of the coronavirus on the University of St.Gallen. It is continually updated. Status 28 May 2021. The Federal Council has decided on measures to contain the spread of the mutated variants of the coronavirus in particular. Accordingly, we have adapted the HSG Covid-19 measures. Face-to-face teaching can take place again in basic teaching and in executive education. Work meetings and other operationally necessary activities that must take place in presence are in principle possible at the HSG. However, please note: In addition to the valid protection and hygiene measures, the minimum distance of 1.5 meters must be observed in offices in particular, and a protective mask must continue to be worn during the current so-called stabilization phase if more than one person is present in the room. Learning spaces are available as far as possible. However, the principle must continue to apply that the learning spaces are only visited by those students who have no opportunity to study at home. To be noted: Even when seated, it is compulsory to wear a protective mask - except in situations of eating and drinking. Drinks and refreshments may not be used as an excuse to avoid wearing the mask for a longer period of time. The library remains open for borrowing and returning items only. Please use preferably the postal service. You will always find up-to-date information on the library pages. Please try not to always schedule your meals between 12 and 1 p.m. so that contacts in the catering areas can also be reduced. The Unisport is able to offer a somewhat extended programme again since 19 April 2021. Up-to-date information is always available at: sport.unisg.ch. Masks are compulsory on the entire campus - both in front of the buildings and in all indoor areas. Excluded from this is the individual presence in rooms / offices. This applies to all persons aged 12 and over who are on campus and in the university buildings. Persons with symptoms of illness or persons who feel ill may not enter either the HSG buildings or the campus. We thank you for your cooperation in coping with the pandemic situation and look forward to all of us meeting again on site in the foreseeable future. Opening hours: You can find the current opening hours on the university homepage unisg.ch.
